About every four years, I wish I had cable television. There are all these amazing competitions going on and I can't watch them!
I've tried watching the live feed on line. There's such an irritating delay, it's impossible.
I've tried watching videos of events that already happened. I'll have to admit, watching the men's 4x100 swim relay was so exciting, even if I already knew who won. Go USA!!!
Just now, I tried watching swim recaps and Michael Phelps take the gold in the 200m swim. The video was so messed up it was like having Max Headroom do the announcing. Do you guys remember him?
"Sh sh sh sh she's the one to b b b b beat."
"A a a a a a ustr tr tr tr trailia has mmmmmmany dissa p p p p p p ointments."
I gave up.
Himself and I are trying to figure out which friend with cable, or at least a good antennae, we can impose upon.

It's quite a drive, but you are welcome here....=)
You know you can always "impose" on us :-). Seriously, you're welcome anytime. I had already thought of asking if Kelly wanted to come over for the women's gymnastics (or should we say "toddler" for some ;-)). Just let me know.
You guys are always welcome at the M's house. We've had the Olympics on every night until late. It's no wonder I have black circles under my eyes! In fact, we'll be having the women's gymnastics on tonight for girls' night and THEN "Pride and Predjudice". Want to join us? :-)
I just wish we could watch online! It's ridiculous how all this is divided up by countries. Outside the US, you can't watch the US channel. There's only one channel for each country. . . and of course, the one for Ukraine doesn't work with Mac. :-P
