Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.

Thank you for the reminder. Rachel, Josh and I watched it together. It stirs up so many strong emotions.
I recommend reading "The Looming Tower" (recommended to me by Icardis) which gives the history of the development of the radical Islamist movement, Al Quaeda, Bin Laden, all the way up to the attacks on 9/11. It's incredibly fascinating and gives great insight into the minds of these people and why they hate us so much. I came away thinking that the only way this "war on terror" will be won is by direct intervention from the Lord. Sadly, by reading the book, you also learn where our own gov't agencies missed many opportunities due to miscommunication, ignorance and bureaucratic stonewalling that would perhaps have prevented these particular attacks.
